With an extensive background in home improvement and construction, Jeff Mears knows how a home should be built — from the ground up. Beginning his career as a draftsman, drawing grading and earthworks for residential development, Jeff has a unique and diverse knowledge of the construction and building industry. He worked for 6 years as an electrician and another 25 years as a general contractor focusing on interior finish work, which provided him with the background and experience to make for a well-rounded and knowledgeable home inspector. As an avid Colorado hunter and fisherman, Jeff has an innate ability to hunt out any defects that may be hiding in your home.

As an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, Jeff is certified and trained by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the world’s largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors.
